Chanel No 5 at the bus stop

I am so sick and tired of these ads. It's been well over a year now that we've been seeing Nicole's face on bus shelters. Enough!

Your frustration is understandable! Why would perfume be so marketable at a bus shelter! I don't see the commercial logic there!

In spite of it all, this is a wonderful photo with the hint of reflection in the back of the shelter!

I apologize. Oh heck, the Aussies should apologize for spreading the Nicole plague around the world. She used to be pretty, now she's just another plastic falsehood.

Chanel No. 5 is the perfume of my youth, and I don't even think any one person advertised it then. It had a chic of its own. And never mind that Nicole Kidman is Photoshopped to look younger than my daughter... :<)

How funny - the man waiting at the bus stop looks fed up with it too!

Glad to see it's not just me who finds these ads unappealing. I would be scared to buy the perfume in case I exploded into that mass of ruffles which seem to be trying to take over Nicole.

I couldn't agree with you more. Why do advertisers think this works? I would not buy it because she is the "Spokesperson." And on a bus-stop ?

What else should you do when waiting for the bus, bored to death, than looking at something nice. If they changed the picture every lets say two weeks that would be perfect :)
